Connecting Through Hats

The Hatmobile holds hat-making workshops throughout Melbourne, across Victoria and out to the far reaches of Australia, and now also offering online learning with short millinery tutorials and live hatmaking lessons!

'Audrey’ (as she was named by our Facebook fans) is packed to the brim with millinery tools and supplies.

Behind the wheel is Waltraud Reiner, a millinery veteran with over 30 years of experience designing and teaching in Australia and overseas. She is passionate about sharing the tools of this classic trade and its effects on mental wellbeing.

What is the Hatmobile?

Where, when, who, why?

Channel Seven News recently featured a story on our millinery workshops. They spoke with Waltraud Reiner, currently touring Queensland running workshops from the Hatmobile, and Queensland milliner Brenda Lui, who runs Crazy Teapot Millinery.
